Start of the yearly vet appointments.

Well I've started lining up appointments for all the animals for yearly checkups, rabies(3 year) etc. Leo will have his first Rabies shot today. He's already had all his other shots as well as the other animals. It's hard to get done since I have no car. But they do home visits and I'm going to talk to them about that today. It might be easier that way anyway.Leo's very well behaved in the car, so All should go well. I can't believe how big he is at 7 months old! He was born July 26th and when I got him he was sooo small. the vet thinks he'll get about 25% bigger. He weighs 65 lbs and when he hurt his leg he weighed 48.8 lbs. Big boy. He's as big as Deuce now if not a bit taller. He thinks he's as small a Junkie! It's too funny! Yesterday he decided he wanted to sleep on the arm of the couch like Junkie does- Too funny! He stood on it and tried to make himself small enough to fit he whined about it and begged for help. He finally realized he wouldn't fit and came and laid on my lap whining and staring at me as if to say"why won't it work anymore?" He's just too funny. He's really protective of me, but any large vehicle he sees sends him running. On walks he hides behind me when the garbage truck or school bus goes by. But if he smells or sees people he's on alert and doesn't want anyone he doesn't know near me. He doesn't offer to bite just growls a little. Well vet time TTYL-B
